The Viral Experiment We Conducted in 2014

A recent experiment conducted by NHK showed just how frequently touchpoints are touched and how easily viruses are spread in locations such as a cruise ships.

Whilst the results of this experiment have shocked the community, they show exactly the same results we saw when we conducted the same experiment back in 2014 in our innovation lab.

Using fluorescent substance and butter on cleaner’s and patients hands, we showed just how early germs and viruses can spread around a patient or residents room in hospitals or aged care facility.

It is critical that individuals, cleaners and healthcare workers are aware of touchpoints and the importance of touchpoint cleaning so that together we can keep each other safe.
