IMS showcases to industry leaders in 4-day workshops
Leaders within the Australian Healthcare Cleaning industry gathered over four days in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney for effective networking and workshopping of ideas to solve some of the greatest industry issues.
How to increase the efficiency and control of cleaning, what innovations should be introduced, how to retain, train and set up your cleaning staff for success, and how to make the life of patients or residents even better and safer? All these questions and many more are constant challenges for managers of Healthcare facilities. The speakers shared best practice examples from both international and local healthcare facilities and demonstrated how attendees could adopt similar practices.
As part of the workshop program, a large interactive presentation of IMS took place as a comprehensive cleaning solution for Heatlh and Aged Care. Hilton Field, IMS Business Development Manager, spoke and demonstrated the benefits of a correctly set up cleaner’s trolley with a full microfibre system. A key message was how the innovative iClean digital cleaning application can be integrated into the cleaning system, which allows you to schedule your site based on science rather than guess work.
Hilton also noted even with the use of technology, at the end of the day, our cleaning staff are the vital component in cleaning. Creating systems that allow the cleaner to be trained correctly on cleaning techniques, and having input into their daily runs where additional tasks or maintenance issues can be logged and communicated back to their managers in real time can lead to staff that feel seen and valued.
As part of the IMS Full system management, the ongoing training of your cleaners and supervisors is done onsite by our implementation team.
